Chris Parker and his wife, Jennifer, have two daughters enrolled at CAPE. He is a land-use consultant who manages dozens of multi-million-dollar development projects in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. He is also an adjunct professor of management communication in the MBA program at California Lutheran University. He has been an Executive Committee member and Treasurer of the Coastal Brownilympics since 2002 and was Chairman of the Steering Committee at Los Senderos Open School in 2005-06. He is a former editor and writer at the Los Angeles Times, Ventura County Star, Los Angeles Daily News and several other newspapers in the region. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree at CSUN and his MBA at CLU.
